On Monday April 28th, Mitch Kapor represented the Kapor Center for Social Impact, side by side with Van Jones, Chris Tucker, CODE2040, MIT Media Lab and BMe Community, to discuss the power of coding and Information Technology.
Along with its power to boost productivity and grow the GDP, information technology can transform communities and lift up young people in America’s urban centers, helping them create more promising futures for themselves. This event brought together practitioners, investors, employers, advocates and entrepreneurs who are using the robust demand for software coders and other technologists as a call for social change and a means to make it happen
